(for 8 people)
- 115g sponge fingers or savoirdi biscuits
- 397g can sweetened condensed milk
- 500g mascarpone cheese
- Several slugs malt whiskey
- 150ml strong black coffee
- 15g cocoa powder
- Mix together the mascarpone and condensed milk
- Mix together coffee and whiskey in a shallow bowl
- Dip each sponge finger/ biscuit into the coffee mixture one by one – making sure they dont go soggy – and line the bottom of a trifle dish with them
- Spoon half the mascarpone mixture over them
- Springle a generous amount of cocoa powder on top
- Repeat steps 3, 4, 5
- Chill before serving for about an hour
